Stunning hand-painted France and Son Bjorn Wiinblad Danish Modern Dining Table. Designed by Bjorn Wiinblad and Poul Cadovius and manufactured for France and Son. This arresting table features radiating, gold swirls  on a tortoiseshell and black background.  It's signed by Mygge, a student of Wiinblad.

About Bjorn Wiinblad - Danish Dining Table

Bjørn Wiinblad (1918-2006) graduated from the Graphics School of the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 1943 and made his debut just two years later with his first exhibition in small rented premises in central Copenhagen.

A Different Approach to Danish Design     

Stepping outside the world of sleek modernism, Bjørn Wiinblad favoured a style dominated by wavy lines, bright colours and romantic worlds.
